4 US Code § 8. Respect for flag
"No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down,
except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
Democracy or Dictatorship?
WHY?
Any time powerful would-be Dictator-type people have the power to convince others that they, and they alone, can make things better, they need autocracy to do that.
Democracy won't allow that.
People like this surround themselves with like-minded, power hungry liars who will do/say anything to gain favor.
The entire Republican Party in our country, as well as the millions of those unable to think for themselves, has been radicalized by the one they call "the Orange Jesus", and who now visualizes himself as the Pope. (He himself released a Photoshopped image of himself as Pope)
Republicans refuse, as the current majority party in Congress, to govern in any form, and have made it a goal to prevent any progress or accomplishments on behalf of the people they represent.
Their sole accomplishments are hate, discontent, and lies.
